Manchester School of Dance

This class is a good introduction to the dance styles of ballet, jazz, and tap, which is for beginners to advance. Also, skills are acquired through an emphasis on technique and concepts developed in classical ballet. Students will also work on stretching their ankles, correct alignment and turnouts, and balancing skills to be on point. They will learn terminology, combinations in the center, and across the floor. In addition, they will create a solo dance movement in class to show their skills they have learned. Also, be confident on their creation of dance routines. This is a 1hr. class. Students will need a solid-colored leotard & skirt of black or dark blue, hair pulled out of the face, pink or tan tights, ballet pink shoes, and black tap shoes, black slip on jazz shoes.
